In order to qualify for permanent residency program, you need to be eligible for at least one of the following streams:
- Federal skilled workers (FSW)
- Canadian experience class (CEC)
- Federal skilled trades (FST)
- Start-up business class
- Provincial nominees
- Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programs
- Caregiver classes
- Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot Program
- Agri Food Pilot
Federal Skilled Workers
- Get minimum 67 points out of 100 points for Federal Skilled worker Criteria
- Points Assessed on Age, Education, Work Experience, Adaptability, Job Offer
- Minimum one year full time work experience in NOC 0, A and B in last 10 years
- Meet the CLB 7 language requirement
Canadian Experience Class
- Minimum 1 year work experience in Canada in last 3 years in NOC 0,A,B
- Meet CLB 7 for NOC 0,A
- Meet CLB 5 for NOC B
- Work experience gained on temporary status should be authorized
- Work experience gained should not be Self-employment or while you were a full-time student.
Federal Skill Trades
- have at least 2 years of full-time work experience within the 5 years
- Meet CLB 5 for Speaking and listening
- Meet CLB4 for Reading and writing
- have a valid job offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least 1 year or certificate of qualification in that skilled trade
