Citizenship and Immigration Canada has signed up with provinces and territories (except Quebec – which has a separate selection program) in Canada, allowing them to nominate immigrants through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) on economic basis
How does it work?
- Each province and territory has its own Immigration program and qualifying criteria for PNP streams.
- Receive certificate of Nomination from Province
- Apply with CIC for Permanent Residency
- Some provinces may also pick the candidates from Express Entry Pool and give candidate 600 points
